We're looking for a skilled B Level Diesel Fleet Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of diesel repair experience to join our growing maintenance team in Urbana, IL. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and working on a variety of fleet vehicles in a well-equipped shop, we'd like to hear from you.

This is a full-time, in-shop position offering competitive pay, steady work, and opportunities to continue growing your technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel-powered fleet vehicles
• Perform OEM diagnostics using manufacturer-specific diagnostic software
• Troubleshoot engine, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Repair and replace radiators, injectors, cooling system components, and related parts
• Complete mid-level engine and drivetrain repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Accurately document repairs and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel mechanic experience
• B Level technician with strong diagnostic abilities
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software and scan tools
• Knowledge of diesel engines, cooling systems, fuel systems, and electrical diagnostics
• Ability to diagnose and repair radiators, injectors, and other mid-level mechanical issues
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits

• $28.00 – $31.00 per hour
