Senior Diesel Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Full-Time Opportunity

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Overtime, weekend, and on-call hours as needed

We are seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Technician to join a growing team supporting heavy-duty trucks and equipment operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced engine, transmission, and differential repairs/replacements
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and after-treatment systems
Utilize OEM diagnostic software such as Cummins, CAT, Volvo, and other platforms
Complete DOT inspections and certify repairs
Repair air systems, hydraulic systems, and electronic brake systems
Conduct road tests, calibrations, and post-repair inspections
Support field service work and emergency roadside repairs
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
Help monitor maintenance scheduling, equipment reliability, and repair trends
Maintain organized tools, parts inventory, and clean work areas
Mentor and support junior technicians
 
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical school training in Diesel Mechanics or related field preferred
5- 8 years of heavy-duty truck or equipment repair experience
Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with OEM diagnostic software platforms
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
CDL-A preferred
Inspector’s License preferred
