As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic you will play a critical role in ensuring that our fleet of heavy equipment is well -maintained and in optimal working condition. <\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

<\/p>

Responsibilities include:<\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

• Repair and Maintenance: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Routine Inspections: Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring the safety and reliability of the equipment.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to pinpoint issues and develop effective solutions.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend the life span of our equipment.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities, as well as parts inventory.<\/span>

  Qualifications:<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy equipment.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Minimum 3 years experience <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other heavy equipment components.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong problem -solving and analytical skills.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • A commitment to safety and the ability to work safely in a shop environment.<\/span>
