Morning: you roll into our clean, safe shop in Moncks Corner, SC, pull a Class 8 tractor onto a bay, and track down a tricky electrical fault. Midday: a DOT inspection on a rollback wrecker. Afternoon: a quick hydraulic repair on a trailer, followed by a roadside call to get a heavy-duty tow truck back in service. What you’ll handle

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, towing and recovery units, trailers, and construction equipment
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and diesel engine systems; complete high‑quality repairs
• Conduct DOT inspections, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic system work, welding/fabrication, and respond to roadside service calls as needed
• Work across equipment such as heavy-duty tow trucks, wreckers, rollback trucks, semi‑tractors, trailers, fleet vehicles, and other towing/transport assets
• Complete quality checks before returning any unit to service

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of diesel truck/trailer repair on Class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles
• Proven skill in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Field service/mobile repair background preferred
