Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator – 5K/10K
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator with hands-on experience operating 5,000-lb and/or 10,000-lb capacity forklifts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to safety, experience handling heavy or oversized materials, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safely operate 5K and/or 10K capacity forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
Transport heavy, bulky, and oversized products throughout the facility and yard.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
Properly secure and position materials for storage, production, or shipment.
Inspect the forklift and equipment before each shift and report any mechanical or safety issues.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and proper forklift operating procedures.
Maintain awareness of pedestrians, vehicles, equipment, and surrounding work areas.
Assist with inventory movement, material staging, and general warehouse duties as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Complete required paperwork, checklists, and material movement documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications
Previous experience operating 5,000-lb and/or 10,000-lb forklifts required.
Demonstrated ability to safely handle heavy and oversized materials.
Forklift certification or documented training preferred.
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
