Oilfield Equipment Assembler

Pay: $18–$24/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time


Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Must-Have Requirements
  • Ability to follow detailed build instructions by part number and description
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and technical understanding
  • Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy
  • Must be able to follow torque specifications and assembly standards
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and tight spaces
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Position Summary

Assembles and fabricates mechanical components in a manufacturing environment focused on oilfield equipment subassembly. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow structured build processes. Work includes installing engine-related components, completing build documentation, and ensuring each step meets company standards for quality and safety.


Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assemble engine components including alternators, intake manifolds, and starters
  • Install components using approved assembly practices
  • Follow torque specifications for all applicable fasteners
  • Mark each component as it is installed
  • Update build sheets throughout each stage of assembly
  • Work from instructions based on part numbers and descriptions
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and organized work practices
  • Follow all company safety procedures and training requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Oilfield Equipment Assembler – Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 65 lbs occasionally (floor to shoulder)
  • Ability to occasionally move up to 100 lbs (push/pull/carry)
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and overhead work required
  • Comfortable working in confined or narrow spaces
  • Repetitive hand tool use (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammering)
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Exposure to heat, cold, noise, fumes, and mechanical environments
  • Ability to work occasional overtime beyond scheduled shift hours
