Diamond Truck and Trailer, a leading for-hire truck repair shop and parts supplier, is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Heavy Duty Truck Parts Associate to join our growing team.
At DTT, we take pride in providing exceptional truck repair services and are excited to continue expanding our partnerships with both OEM and aftermarket suppliers to better support our customers' parts needs. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service, accurately identify and source heavy-duty truck parts, and provide critical support to our internal service team.

Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels and place stock orders as needed
Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage
Receive and put stock orders away in designated locations
Process over-the-counter sales accurately and efficiently
Ensure timely parts distribution in the shop in accordance with scheduled repairs
Assist road service technicians with restocking service vehicles
Inform customers on parts availability, pricing, and lead times
Manage and maintain service truck inventory
Assist with customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Accurately identify and source heavy-duty truck parts using electronic catalogs, manufacturer resources, and industrial knowledge
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records
Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts as needed
Assist with invoice entry, filing, and related administrative tasks
Stay current on new products, industry trends, and manufacturer updates
Demonstrate a working knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
Cross-reference parts across multiple manufacturers and suppliers
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid Driver's License
Strong computer skills
Ability to lift and move 100 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in heavy-duty truck parts sales or a related field
Proficiency with electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems
Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
Experience operating a forklift
Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket truck parts and suppliers
