Heavy Equipment Mechanic (2nd and 3rd Shift)
Ft. Wayne, IN area
$30 - $40/hr
Our client is a family-owned and operated organization that has been around for several generations and have grown leaps and bounds in the past few decades. Due to growth, they currently need to hire a Heavy Equipment Mechanic near Ft. Wayne.
Main duties include:
Provide full maintenance support on large-scale off-road hydraulically driven equipment
Maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Assist in the dismantling and repair of specialty engine and transmission components
Maintenance on heavy-duty braking systems
Ensure compliance on all heavy vehicle safety regulations
Qualifications include:
Experience working on off-road diesel equipment
Strong hydraulics repair and maintenance experience
Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours. 5 10-hour shifts per week. You'll have the flexibility to start your shift whenever works best for you.
