McLean Contracting Company is looking to hire experienced heavy equipment mechanics to join our service team in the Baltimore, MD and Chesapeake, VA regions.

Selected candidates will work on a wide range of equipment from marine cranes, piledriving equipment and marine to land fleet cranes, along with other mobile equipment. Ideal candidates will possess 5+ years of relevant experience, and a strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make the necessary repairs to heavy construction equipment with little supervision.

Essential Skills

• Marine diesel repairs \u2013 ABYC Certifications a plus
• Ability to read/ interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience with marine electrical systems.
• Ability to read/ interpret hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with repairing hydraulic systems (pumps, motors, actuators, etc\u2026)
• Crane repair, erection/disassembly \u2013 CCO license a plus
• Strong knowledge of friction cranes and Liebherr duty cycle cranes a plus.
