Heavy Equipment Mechanic

REQUIREMENTS:

• The desire to be an integral part of a growing maintenance team.
• The ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly when working in a fast-paced environment or under pressure.
• The ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong, effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid Driver's License.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining engines, primarily on heavy equipment throughout the Blue Mountain Resort property.
• Runs diagnostic tests on heavy equipment in need of repair; identifies key issues and comes up with effective solutions.
• Replaces out-of-order engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, braking systems, and various other components of vehicles and equipment in need of repair.
• Verifies company vehicles are running safely and efficiently.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of workspaces.
• Acknowledges and complies with all safety standards when operating equipment and tools.
• Attends staff meetings as required.
