Heavy Equipment Operator (C&D)

Inova is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support construction and demolition (C&D) material for one of our clients in Valley View.
This is a first shift, direct hire position.
Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators to sort, separate, and move C&D material
• Operate additional equipment: front end loaders, compactors, dozers, screening equipment
• Operate excavators equipped with magnets, thumb grapples, and buckets
• Sort and recover materials from mixed construction and demolition debris
• Load, stockpile, and organize processed materials
• Safely operate equipment around trucks, processing equipment, and ground personnel
• Perform routine equipment inspections

Preferred Experience:

• Previous C&D recycling, demolition, scrap, or material recovery experience
• Strong excavator operating experience
• Excavator magnet experience strongly preferred
• Experience with thumb/grapple buckets
• Ability to safely and efficiently separate different material types

Ideal candidates will have strong excavator skills and direct experience sorting construction and demolition material in a recycling, demolition, transfer station, or similar environment.
