Heavy Equipment Operator (Waterfront Construction) – Top Pay + No Weekends

Greater Canton, OH Area
  Full-Time | Monday–Friday


$20 – $32 per hour (based on experience + performance)
️ Overtime + Performance Bonuses

What You’ll Do


  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently:

    • Excavators

    • Skid steers

    • Telehandlers

    • Mini track loaders

  • Assist with construction of:

    • Docks, seawalls, and bulkheads

    • Retaining walls and hardscapes

  • Load, move, and stage materials on active jobsites

  • Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment

  • Work with your crew to keep jobs moving efficiently and on schedule

  • Maintain safety awareness—especially around water and uneven terrain

What We’re Looking For


1–3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
Ability to understand grades, elevations, and layout lines
Strong work ethic – moves with purpose, not slow-paced
Team player willing to jump in wherever needed


Bonus (Not Required):


  • Experience in waterfront or marine construction

  • CDL

Requirements:


  • Valid driver’s license

  • Reliable transportation

  • Drug-free workplace

  • Clean background

Pay Structure 


We pay based on skill, efficiency, and production—not just seat time.


  • $20–$24/hr Entry-level operator (basic machine skills)

  • $25–$28/hr Solid operator (productive, reliable)

  • $29–$32/hr High-level operator (precise, efficient, jobsite impact)

Fast Raises Available Based On:


  • Accuracy and efficiency

  • Ability to read grade and execute without rework

  • Jobsite awareness and teamwork

  • Production output
