With more than 900 employees, we self-perform 80% of site groundwork, giving us greater control over safety, quality, schedules, and costs.Job OverviewThe Heavy Equipment Operator safely and effectively operates construction equipment on active jobsites. Equipment may include front-end loaders, trackhoes, bulldozers, GPS dozers, rollers, off-road trucks, mini excavators, excavators, and skid steers. Additional duties may be assigned based on project needs.What You'll DoSafely enter and exit heavy machinery while maintaining three points of contact.Operate heavy equipment with awareness of jobsite surroundings and proper multi-limb coordination.Follow heavy equipment safety practices and operating procedures.Inspect and perform daily equipment maintenance to support safe, reliable operation.Work as part of a construction crew and follow the foreman's instructions to help meet project schedules.Follow traffic control instructions and all company safety policies and procedures.Adapt to changes in work schedules, project locations, and shift times.QualificationsAbility to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ pounds.Two or more years of heavy equipment operator experience preferred.Ability to work safely and effectively in a team-oriented construction environment.BenefitsEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).Paid time off.401(k) with company match.Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental insurance programs.An Equal Opportunity EmployerDrug-Free Workplace
