Join a Leading Electric Infrastructure Contractor
We're partnering with a leading electric infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support transmission, distribution, and underground utility projects. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with a strong backlog of work and excellent long-term career potential.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, backhoes, dozers, loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform trenching, excavation, grading, and backfilling for electric utility projects.
- Assist with underground conduit, duct bank, and utility installations.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.
- Work with field crews to deliver projects safely and on schedule.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience in heavy civil or utility construction.
- Experience with underground electric or utility work preferred.
- Ability to work safely around existing underground utilities.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
