Job Responsibilities

Operate excavators, loaders, skid-steers, and backhoes for foundation prep and sitework

Perform excavation for footings, foundations, and utility trenches

Grade and level sites to meet specifications and elevations

Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes

Assist with drainage, backfill, and compaction work

Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew
Qualifications

5–10 years of heavy equipment experience, with foundation/site prep focus preferred

Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, and excavation for foundations

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and elevations

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

OSHA 10 certification

Strong attention to detail and safety practices

Good communication and teamwork skills
