- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
- Valid driver's license and relevant heavy equipment operator certification.
