This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months.
What You'll Be Doing
Safely operate a variety of heavy and fixed plant equipment to support daily aggregate production
Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure safe, reliable performance
Monitor material flow, production quality, and operating conditions, making adjustments as needed
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and maintain efficient operations
Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safety-first culture
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment
Strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues
Reliable and collaborative approach with clear and effective communication skills
Ability to follow operational procedures, adapt to changing priorities, and familiarity with MSHA regulations, with Part 46 training considered an asset
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
