Heavy Equipment Operators Needed

Roanoke, New River Valley, Hillsville & Dublin, VA

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)CDL Class B Required

A well-established local company is seeking experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operators to join their growing team.

We have opportunities available in the Roanoke, Hillsville, and Dublin, Virginia areas for the following positions:

• Motor Grader Operator

• Equipment Operator

• Asphalt Distributor Operator

Position Responsibilities

Motor Grader Operator

• Operate motor grader equipment for road construction and site development projects.

• Perform grading, leveling, and finishing work according to project specifications.

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

• Work safely and efficiently in a team environment.

Equipment Operator

• Operate various heavy construction equipment, including loaders, excavators, rollers, dozers, and other machinery.

• Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, and utility projects.

• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Asphalt Distributor Operator

• Operate asphalt distributor trucks and apply asphalt materials according to project requirements.

• Ensure proper calibration and application rates.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Coordinate with paving crews to ensure efficient project completion.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B License required.

• Previous heavy equipment operating experience preferred.

• Knowledge of construction site safety standards.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties as needed.
