Express Employment is hiring a customer-driven Counter Sales professional for our client in the Heavy Construction division. You’ll be the first point of contact at the counter and on the phone—guiding customers to the right equipment, parts, and materials while ensuring every interaction reflects a customer-first mindset. This full-time, on-site role pays $19.00 per hour.
Morning: You open the showroom and counter—restocked, tidy, and ready. You welcome walk-in customers, answer incoming calls, and begin assisting with orders.
Midday: You quote special-order items, complete purchase order requests, fax them to the Purchasing Department, and track shipments so you can alert customers as soon as items arrive. You coordinate deliveries with the Operations Manager and keep a close eye on the status of Will Call and back-order tickets. You also handle transfer requests between locations.
Afternoon: You reconcile the daily cash drawer and complete all corporate paperwork. When needed, you jump into the warehouse to assist. Throughout the day, you share quotes and customer job leads with the outside sales team.
Close: You help with end-of-day housekeeping—trash, sweeping, and ensuring your work area and the counter remain clean and appealing.
