A well-established company in the Sheldon area is seeking a Heavy Equipment/Recycling Equipment Operator to join their team, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity. 

Responsibilities:
• Safely operate Heavy equipment, including bulldozers, compactors, excavators, wheel loaders, graders, articulated dump trucks, telehandler, and forklift.  
• Use equipment to spread, compact, and cover waste materials to specified grades and compaction levels.
• Maintain proper slopes, grades, and cover on landfill areas and Load recyclable materials using telehandlers and forklift.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  •  Oversee the receiving of recyclable materials; including commingled household material, electronics and cardboard.
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Experience in landfills, construction, or similar environments is preferred                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        • Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure operational efficiency and safety                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              • Valid drivers license; CDL license is a plus
• Reliable, safety-focused, and physically capable of lifting heavy items                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            • Experience with preventive maintenance or light repairs a plus                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
