Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Hours: Mon- Fri, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
Pay: $28 - 45 an hour, based on skills and experience

Summary:
The ideal Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment in yard and shop. Experience with Caterpillar, Joen Deer, Bell, etc. is preferred.

 

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures
• Identify, research and order parts as needed
• Complete service reports, work orders, and required machine documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers

 

Required skills:
• Valid driver's license
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR equipment is preferred
• Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems
• Experience with OEM parts look up and ordering systems
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Pay Range: USD $28.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.
