We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Technician II who takes pride in solving tough problems, doing the job right, and helping others get better along the way.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Technician, you’ll be one of the people our customers and teammates count on when equipment needs to perform. You’ll diagnose challenging issues, make high-quality repairs, and help ensure every machine leaving the shop is ready to work safely and reliably.

Your experience will also make a difference beyond the equipment. You’ll share what you know, mentor developing technicians, and help set the standard for quality, safety, and craftsmanship across the team.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair equipment: Troubleshoot advanced diesel and gasoline engine, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, and electronic control system issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and scan equipment.
• Handle complex repairs: Remove, rebuild, repair, install, and adjust major machine components, including engines, pumps, hydraulic motors, controllers, valves, and track assemblies.
• Own the quality of the work: Perform failure analysis and quality inspections, plan and manage repair costs, identify and order parts, and make sure repairs meet manufacturer and SitePro standards.
• Lead by example: Work safely, care for company equipment, support customers, communicate with shop leadership, and mentor junior technicians through hands-on guidance and training.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years of relevant equipment repair experience, with a high school diploma/equivalent or trade school education preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of dirt-engaging, aerial, and lifting equipment, including diesel/gas engines, electrical and hydraulic schematics, A/C systems, ECM software, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical ability, including experience with component rebuilding, failure analysis, quality inspections, forklifts, overhead cranes, and a complete assortment of appropriate hand tools.
• A safety-first mindset, strong communication skills, dependable attendance, and the ability to teach others, adapt to changing workloads, and meet customer needs.
