    Description

    HiFyve is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician in the Heavy Equipment industry in Lubbock, TX!


    Salary: $28–$35/hour

    Shift: Day Shift, approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional needs outside standard business hours

    Location: Lubbock, TX


    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment, components, and related systems.
    • Develop repair plans and determine the necessary parts, materials, and tooling needed to complete each job.
    • Perform mechanical repairs safely and conduct appropriate quality assurance testing following repairs.
    • Complete service reports, work orders, parts requests, tooling records, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
    • Communicate repair status, findings, and progress with supervisors throughout the repair process.
    • Perform repairs involving diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and other heavy equipment systems.
    • Properly operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, cranes, compressors, and other shop equipment.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following established safety policies and procedures.
    • Properly care for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and other assigned assets.


    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate Degree in Diesel Technology, Equipment Technology, or a related field preferred.
    • Relevant hands-on technical education or training may be considered in combination with applicable experience.
