Heavy Equipment Technician

Our client is an established concrete pumping company seeking a Truck and Concrete Pump Technician to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in fleet or heavy equipment maintenance, along with solid electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills. This full-time role is centered on keeping the company's trucks and pumps safe, reliable, and ready for the field.

Job Requirements -

- Perform preventive maintenance (P.M.) services on both truck chassis and concrete pump units.

- Inspect fleet vehicles and pumping equipment to confirm they remain safe and reliable for service.

- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete adjustments or repairs on-site when feasible.

- Escalate more complex or advanced repairs to the maintenance team as needed.

- Coordinate daily with the area manager and fleet manager on task priorities and scheduling.

- Track lubrication intervals, completed service work, and any flagged equipment issues, recording everything through work orders.

- Follow all safety protocols, report hazards, and maintain a clean, organized work area.



Job Requirements -

- 1-2 years of experience in truck or equipment maintenance, or a comparable hands-on role.

- Working knowledge of fleet maintenance and repair procedures.

- Direct experience with heavy construction equipment is highly preferred

- Must supply your own hand tools.

- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and hydraulics is preferred

- Class B CDL license would be a bonus

- Relevant industry certifications, though on-the-job training is provided (Preferred).
