Express Employment Professionals of Everett
is seeking a Heavy Forklift Operator for an industrial company in Arlington. This is a fulltime, permanent position offering $24 - $26 per hour, DOE. Enjoy a steady day shift schedule of Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. with overtime every other Saturday.
The forklift operator is responsible for material handling capabilities to operate a 35,000 lbs. capacity forklift for off-loading and loading semi-trucks. Qualified candidates will have at least 2+ years of recent experience operating large / heavy forklifts in an industrial setting. Longevity with previous employers and the ability to work well with others are essential.
**Responsibilities:
**
Receive raw materials and load them into processing equipment
Set excess materials aside in a to-be-processed area
Carefully build large weight loads of products with varying weights and lengths in preparation for shipment
Check the accuracy of built loads, ensuring they match the paperwork
Assist and support the shipping and receiving supervisor in meeting production and shipping schedules
Maintain a clean work area
Perform regular safety and equipment checks
**Requirements:

At least 2+ years of recent experience operating heavy forklifts
Strong attention to detail and emphasis on safety
Excellent longevity with previous employers
Ability to work well with others
