We are seeking a skilled Heavy Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX, 77073. Responsibilities
Operate heavy forklifts to move, lift, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment usage.
Assist in training new operators on safe and efficient forklift operation.
Be open to learning other skills, and moving departments in the future.
Paint, grind, phosphate, cold rolling, and deburr metal parts.
Learn to operate overhead cranes, and other machinery.
General housekeeping duties in the warehouse.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
