SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Heavy General Laborer in Huntley, IL.  As a Warehouse Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including: 
No experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately!  This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.   SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18 - $19/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.   Available shifts include: 1st Shift:  6am - 2:30 pm ($18) 2nd Shift:  2:30 pm-11:30 pm ($19) Responsibilities of the Heavy General Laborer:
  1. Keep powder levels up by bringing barrels in for filling hoppers
  2. Relieve enamel sprayers when necessary
  3. Clean filters and magnets 
  4. Preventative maintenance on machines, and repairs that are not done by plant maintenance staff
  5. Order parts, supplies and hooks
  6. Communicates with all Supervisors, Manager and employees from other departments
  7. Comprehends instructions from Supervisors and Manager
  8. Complete production report
  9. Monitor quality of production by self-check, successive checks and comparison to quality standards
  10. Active with troubleshooting and continual improvement of the process
  11. Decides on Pre-shipment approval
  12. Works with maintenance on problems with Air-Conditioner, Compressor Air and Powder Booths
  13. Must fill out SPC charts
  14. Interprets which lot of powder is best for any given line
  15. Needs to work with Quality Control on questions concerning Powder Booth and related defects
  16. Maintains Quality Control for employees
 Required Qualifications of the Heavy General Laborer: 
  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Able to 50 lbs. drums of powder.
