Heavy Haul Truck Driver (Conventional Loads to Superloads)

Join the Buckingham Heavy Transport or Wolfe House Movers team running conventional or over-dimensional loads. We provide transportation for our site crews and over-dimensional services to a broad spectrum of clients across the eastern United States. We also have driving work for less experienced drivers who would like to run conventional loads. We provide the opportunity to grow into the pulling larger loads over time.

Buckingham Heavy Transport specializes in rigging and transport of heavy loads including transformers, presses, and wind-farm components. Wolfe House Movers specializes in lifting and moving buildings. We are located in Berks County, PA, and service the eastern half of the United States, with occasional projects taking us across the country. Our equipment fleet includes stepdecks, RGN trailers, a variety of 13-axle flat deck and perimeter trailers, as well as platform and dual lane trailers. • Inspect equipment for safety and compliance
• Report all maintenance needs
• Follow all safety practices rigging and loading
• Ensure adequate load securement
• Comply with all permit requirements
• Cooperate with police and other escorts

Requirements

• CDL Class A driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Eligible to work in the United States
• TWIC card preferred
• At least 3-5 years over-dimensional hauling experience strongly desired
• Experience with conventional-load hauling, such as flatbed or stepdeck hauling, is a plus
