Responsibilities
- Assemble heavy industrial equipment according to specifications and blueprints and two dimensions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all components meet safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of assembly techniques.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in heavy industrial assembly or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in assembly work.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
