Job Title: 2nd shift MIG Production Welder

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MIG Production Welder to join our client's team in the heavy industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to the fabrication welding of equipment, ensuring high-quality welds, maintaining safety standards, and working efficiently in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machinery and equipment.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy of machine operation.
• Weld in a fast-paced production environment as part of a team.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Strong MIG welding experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with thin-gauge metal and maintaining high-quality weld standards.
• Ability to read and follow welding specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• High School diploma or GED; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Graduate of a recognized welding trade school or vocational welding program.
