Heavy Lifting Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 9-hour shifts (includes 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks)

SUMMARY:

• Environment: Non-climate-controlled facility (temperatures vary by weather-please dress accordingly).
• Physical Requirements: Highly demanding manual labor role requiring repetitive heavy lifting of up to 100 lbs. This is entirely hands-on with no forklifts or cherry pickers-you will use pallet jacks, push carts, and RF scanners.
• Pace & Independence: We are looking for self-starters who adapt quickly to new tasks, work efficiently on their own, and hit daily production targets.

What You'll Do:

• Handle, move, and organize boxes and materials weighing 10 to 100 lbs.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners to track inventory.
• Read and process labels and documentation using our internal systems.
• Load pallets and prepare boxes for outbound shipments.
• Navigate stairs, inclines, and various floor surfaces safely.
• Climb ladders and work in different physical positions (bending, kneeling, squatting, etc.).

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period

What We're Looking For:

• Comfortable lifting and carrying boxes up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
• Willing and able to walk, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Experience using basic warehouse tools or willingness to learn (pallet jacks, carts, scanners).
• Safety-minded and dependable, with attention to detail.
