Heavy Truck Diagnostic & Hydraulics Specialist

We’re searching for a Heavy Truck Diagnostic & Hydraulics Specialist who thrives on complex problems and keeps equipment online, whether in the shop or on a mobile service call.

You Will

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues with advanced scan tools and software.
• Rebuild and repair chassis systems: steering, suspension, braking, and driveline on Class 6–8 platforms.
• Service emissions systems with emphasis on EGR circuits, coolers, and valves; support DPF/DEF performance.
• Install, configure, and repair PTO gearboxes and integrated hydraulic systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, winches).
• Read schematics to troubleshoot 12V/24V electrical circuits, harnesses, starting/charging systems, and ECMs.

Do You Have

• A valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)?
• Proven experience as a diesel tech on heavy trucks (Class 6, 7, or 8)?
• High mechanical aptitude and an unwavering commitment to safety and compliance?
• Vocational/technical school training or military mechanical experience?

What You’ll Work On

• Systems & Skills: Diesel engine systems (including light-duty diesel), diesel & heavy equipment systems, hydraulic systems/components, electrical systems & diagnostics (heavy equipment), and advanced troubleshooting.
• Equipment: Diesel engines and vehicles, box trucks, flatbeds/pickups, cranes, boom trucks, digger derricks, aerial devices, boom cranes, refuse trucks, hi-rail trucks, PTO-driven gear, and aftertreatment (DPF/DEF).
