Sullivan Hauling is looking for a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team in New Oxford, PA! Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
• Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components
• Inspect and repair hydraulic systems, suspension, and steering components
• Conduct DOT inspection readiness checks and ensure vehicles meet compliance standards
• Document all maintenance and repair work accurately in service records
• Identify parts needs and coordinate with management for timely procurement

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a heavy truck or diesel mechanic
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Class 6-8 trucks and diesel engines
• Experience with DOT regulations and commercial vehicle inspection standards
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software for modern truck systems
• Must supply own hand tools; specialty tools provided
• CDL preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player
