Heavy Wire Annealer Operator-2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is looking for a 2nd Shift Heavy Wire Annealer Operator located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM (Training will be 4-6 months on 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM)

Pay: $18.87/Hour (10% differential on 2nd)

Job Summary: This individual will set up and operate annealing furnaces to temper heavy wire. responsible up to but not limited to Heavy Wire Anneal and home department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the needs of the Heavy Wire Anneal department
• Ability to multitask running a wide variety of machines.
• Uphold Quality and production expectations of each area.
• Maintain Order and cleanliness of work area.
• Observe all safety rules and environmental regulations.
• Select jobs to be preformed according to schedule and needs.
• To set up and operate Heavy Wire Annealing furnaces.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, walk and reach.
• Requires manual dexterity and visual and audio ability.
