Position: Heavy Wrecker & Rotator Operator – Class A CDL
Location: Sturbridge, MA & Chicopee, MA
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts: Multiple Shifts Available

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Heavy Wrecker & Rotator Operators to join our recovery team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling challenging commercial vehicle recoveries, tractor-trailer rollovers, heavy equipment incidents, and complex roadside recovery situations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced heavy-duty recovery professional who can operate specialized equipment safely and efficiently while working in demanding roadside environments.

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy-duty wreckers, rotators, and specialized recovery equipment
Perform winching, rigging, lifting, uprighting, and vehicle recovery operations
Recover tractors, trailers, commercial vehicles, buses, and heavy equipment
Respond to accidents, breakdowns, rollovers, and complex roadside recovery scenes
Assess recovery situations and determine safe and effective recovery methods
Transport recovered vehicles and equipment to repair facilities, yards, or customer locations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Complete required paperwork, recovery reports, and documentation
Follow DOT regulations, safety requirements, hours-of-service regulations, and company policies
Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, law enforcement, fire departments, and other first responders
Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times
Required Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL
Proven experience operating heavy-duty wreckers
Strong experience with heavy recovery, winching, and rigging
Experience handling tractor-trailer rollovers and complex recovery scenes
Clean driving record
Ability to work safely around traffic and challenging roadside conditions
Ability to work in changing weather conditions
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable work ethic and commitment to safety
Preferred Experience
Rotator operation
Advanced rigging techniques
Tractor-trailer rollover recovery
Heavy commercial vehicle recovery
Heavy equipment recovery
Police, fire, highway, and first-responder scene coordination
