  • Serve as the authority for language quality, adapting and tailoring content to the brand''s voice and localization needs.
  • Provide linguistic and cultural advisory to the brand (e.g. awareness and perception of the brand in the target market, recommended user address and tone of voice, evaluation of the style and terminology of e-commerce competitors in the target market)
  • Conduct thorough reviews of marketing content against source material, ensuring adherence to guidelines, style guides, and terminology management.
  • Supervise terminology management in collaboration with client's Terminologist.
  • Address and resolve queries from linguists effectively.
  • Translate high-impact content and ensure its linguistic integrity.
  • Engage in quality control processes, meetings, and discussions initiated by the client, including availability for ad-hoc conference calls.
  • Tackle linguistic bugs post-testing and ensure multimedia content meets quality standards.
  • Cooperate with Language Specialists in other languages to exchange expertise and develop efficient, cross-language solutions.
  • Perform staging reviews, encompassing homepages, landing pages, and other key assets.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Hebrew native level Language Specialist for E-commerce | legal+marketing client, and we are contacting you to check if you would be interested in joining our program.

Time Commitment & Availability : This role requires approximately 10 hours of active work per month, with a slightly higher workload initially to assist with the creation of Style Guides and glossaries.

All candidates must pass the short unpaid test and participate in the video interview.

Key Requirements:

  • Native Language Proficiency: The candidate must possess native language skills in the target language and be preferably located in the country where the target language is spoken.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor''s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Interpretation, or a related field is required. A Master''s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Extensive Experience: At least 7 years of experience in translating, transcreation, copywriting, localizing, and reviewing content. A minimum of 5 years of experience in evaluating linguistic quality, coaching translators, and implementing improvement plans.
  • English Proficiency: Fluent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both the mother tongue and English.
  • Localization Expertise: A sound understanding of localization, translation, and terminology management processes.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with TMS and/or CAT tools, particularly Smartling.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A highly collaborative nature combined with innovation, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Attention to Detail: An acute eye for detail and the ability to work with precision.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Linguistic Advocacy: Capable of explaining linguistic challenges and cultural concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • SEO Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of SEO, with advanced knowledge, is considered a significant asset.
  • AI Workflows Experience: Previous experience working with AI in some capacity and evaluating output and post editing.
