Job Description We are seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide technical assistance and customer service support for Patient Care Programs within the Bureau of Communicable Diseases. This role involves assisting users with technical issues, troubleshooting system problems, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end users in a help desk environment
- Troubleshoot system, application, and data entry issues
- Deliver excellent customer service while resolving user concerns
- Perform clerical duties including data entry and documentation
- Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and user interactions
- Support daily operations of patient care program systems
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a professional environment
- At least 2 years of clerical experience including data entry and troubleshooting
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak and understand English
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior help desk or IT support experience

- Must be available for onsite work in Tallahassee, FL
- Must successfully complete:
- Level 2A Fingerprint-based Nationwide Background Check
- National Background Check
- e-Verify process and onboarding compliance requirements
