We are a leading dermatology company, and were looking for an experienced Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic team. Our medical office environment is fast-paced, and we take pride in being one of the largest dermatology practices in the country, with plans for continued growth.
Responsibilities
As a Help Desk Technician, you will:
- Provide top-notch technical support to end-users via phone, email, and self-service requests
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, communicating effectively with end-users to understand equipment problems and propose solutions
- Set up, configure, and test computer equipment and peripherals.
- Maintain detailed records of customer issues, tracking each case through to resolution.
- Assist in software and hardware updates.
- Perform PC Moves/Adds/Changes as needed.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
- Possess strong hardware and software knowledge.
- Be proficient in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Exchange/Outlook.
- Have experience diagnosing PC hardware problems.
- Be able to perform basic network functions.
- Conduct computer remedial and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of customer calls and resolutions.
- Stay current with technical knowledge of relevant products and support policies
- Have 1 year of experience working in a help desk environment, resolving computer hardware and software-related issues.
