We’re looking for a customer-focused Desktop Support Technician who enjoys solving technical problems and, just as importantly, working directly with people.
This is a hands-on, on-site opportunity supporting business users with day-to-day technology needs.
You’ll serve as an initial point of contact for IT issues and provide in-person, desk-side, and remote support across PCs, laptops, networks, phones, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.
A major part of this role is client interaction. We’re looking for someone who can communicate clearly and professionally with non-technical users, take ownership of issues, and coordinate with other IT teams through resolution.
What you’ll be doing:
• Troubleshoot PC, network, phone, printer, hardware, software, and mobile-device issues
• Provide desk-side, in-person, and remote technical support
• Support Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Windows, Edge, Active Directory, Citrix, and related technologies
• Image and deploy desktops and laptops, including PXE-based imaging
• Provide hardware and software application maintenance and support
• Support iPhones, HP desktops/laptops, and multifunction printers
• Use ITIL-focused ticket management processes and tools
• Perform IT asset management activities
• Participate in technology refresh projects
• Coordinate issue resolution across IT teams while remaining the primary point of contact for end users
• Follow established IT processes, procedures, and security policies
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong ability to work with and support non-technical end users
• Strong troubleshooting and prioritization skills
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and quickly learn new tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology OR an Associate degree plus 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Desktop/laptop imaging experience
• Experience supporting hardware and software applications
• Familiarity with ITIL-based ticketing systems; ServiceNow experience is a plus
Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Windows, Edge, Active Directory, and desktop support will be especially valuable in this role.
If you’re a hands-on IT support professional who takes pride in delivering a great end-user experience, we’d like to hear from you.
