Job Information

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a tech savvy Help Desk Technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot a variety of symptoms, diagnose problems, test, and recommend and implement solutions for technology problems
  • Installing and testing FloWorks standard image on desktops and laptops
  • Ensure that all business users can properly utilize approved hardware and software designated to be supported by the Help Desk
  • Setting up conference rooms to use technology services (e.g., presentations, network connections, audio/visuals)
  • Using Active Directory for general network administration tasks (e.g., password change, printer group assignments)
  • Working with Windows OS platforms Win 7, Win 10 & Win 11
  • Using Smartsheet's and Ivanti to manage firm assets (e.g., assign, retire and order assets)
  • Administering training for staff and new hires, including new product demonstrations
  • Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
  • Support M&A Integration activities pertaining to the applications sub-department
  • Knowledge and proficiency of various remote communication methodologies including MFA and VPN, and handheld wireless devices (i.e. iOS and Android) in a corporate environment
  • Print management server experience
  • Intermediate RDP and server administration
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP of IT in support of the business

Qualifications:

  • Dependable and punctual
  • Positive communication skills, both over the phone and via e-mails
  • Go getter and not afraid to think outside the box
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field or 2+ years of experience as a Help Desk technician
  • Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 & hardware components
  • Certifications that are a plus: ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft IT Support

  • Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
