Our Help Me Grow program provides voluntary, family-centered home visiting services that support healthy child development, strengthen parent-child relationships, and connect families with resources in their communities. Our team partners with expectant parents and families of young children to promote positive outcomes during the critical early years of life.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Help Me Grow Specialist – Home Visitor to join our Early Childhood team. In this role, you will build supportive relationships with expectant parents and families of children from birth to age three by providing individualized home visiting services, developmental support, parenting education, and connections to community resources.

Hours: Full-time, first shift with two evenings per week
Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.24 per hour
Working Days: Monday through Friday
Hours per Week: 40 hours per week

What You Will Do

  • Develop supportive, family-centered relationships with pregnant women and families of children from birth to age three

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and intake activities

  • Provide parenting education, developmental guidance, advocacy, and referrals to community resources

  • Partner with families to identify goals and develop individualized plans to support child and family success

  • Promote positive parent-child interactions and healthy child development

  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with community partners to coordinate services

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate degree or at least two years of coursework in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred

  • Experience working with children from birth to age three and their families preferred

  • Knowledge of community resources and family support services preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse families

Preferred

  • Experience providing home visiting or family support services

  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable

  • Familiarity with early childhood development and family-centered service models
