Job Description:
The Helpdesk Data Entry Analyst plays a critical role in supporting public health initiatives by ensuring accurate and timely data entry while providing exceptional customer service.
This position serves as a key link between technology and end-users, assisting healthcare stakeholders in resolving system-related issues. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in data entry, customer service, and at health data.
The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers, public health agencies, and internal use system functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve duplicate patient records and incorrect merges in the immunization
  • Utilize data tools and matching algorithms to identify and correct data integrity issues
  • Document all support interactions in the ticketing system and maintain accurate logs
  • Provide guidance to users on best practices for data entry and record management.
  • Assist in testing system updates and enhancements.

Skills:
  • Experience in a helpdesk or healthcare support role
  • Experience with deduplication tools, data matching, or record linkage techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Knowledgeable with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with immunization information systems (Nice to have)
  • Experience working with state or local public health departments (Nice to have)
  • Understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations (Nice to have)
