We are seeking a motivated and reliable Helper/Apprentice to assist our technicians in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection systems. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the fire safety industry. Training will be provided, and there are opportunities for advancement based on performance and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist technicians with the installation and servicing of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems
Help perform routine inspections and testing of fire protection equipment
Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Travel to various job sites as required
Learn industry standards and basic fire protection practices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Basic mechanical or construction knowledge is a plus
Strong work ethic and reliability
Work Environment:
On-site work at commercial and residential locations
May involve working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Requires standing, bending, climbing, and lifting
Compensation amp; Benefits:
$20/hourly pay (based on experience)
