- Knowledge of cooking techniques, procedures, and use and care of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Able to communicate with Food Service office personnel, cafeteria, and contract warehouse personnel.

- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals. Ability to ork independently with little or no supervision.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed. Exhibits professionalism.
- Professional appearance and appropriate attire for job.
- Demonstrates good judgment and knowledge of District policies and procedures which support the activities of the Department.
Function
Under the supervision of the Night Shift Supervisor, perform assigned functions in food preparation, and clean up.
Reports To:
Night Shift Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Exhibits professionalism.
- Prepare food according to work schedules and standardized recipes.
- Prepare food using effective time and motion techniques.
- Dip food from steam kettle into containers.
- Wash pots and pans.
- Perform assigned cleanup of kitchen, including equipment and floors.
- Lift or carry 1 to 40 lbs. frequently, 41 to 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder level occasionally, work with Machinery frequently
- Climb ladders, stairs, and ramps occasionally.
- Walk frequently and stand continuously.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
