Yale Cancer Center and the Section of Hematology at Yale School of Medicine invite applications from outstanding Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematologists or Medical Oncologists with expertise and interest in Multiple Myeloma to join our internationally recognized academic medical center. Faculty appointments are available at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician-scientist or clinically focused academic hematologist seeking to advance the treatment of plasma cell disorders through clinical excellence, translational research, and innovative therapeutic development.

Opportunity Highlights

As a member of the Multiple Myeloma Program, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with plasma cell disorders through:

• Comprehensive clinical care for patients with multiple myeloma and related hematologic malignancies
• Development and leadership of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials
• Participation in groundbreaking translational research programs
• Collaboration with laboratory and clinical investigators across Yale Cancer Center
• Opportunities to contribute to early-phase drug development and novel therapeutic platforms
• Academic appointment within Yale School of Medicine
• Teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows, and research trainees

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in multiple myeloma and related plasma cell disorders
• Develop and lead clinical research and clinical trial initiatives
• Foster collaboration between laboratory-based and clinical investigators
• Conduct high-impact translational and clinical research
• Participate in multidisciplinary disease-focused teams
• Contribute to educational programs and trainee mentorship
• Advance innovative treatment approaches, including targeted therapies and emerging therapeutic modalities
• Support Yale Cancer Center's mission of excellence in patient care, research, and education

Qualifications

Required

• MD, DO, or equivalent
• Fellowship training in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
• Eligibility for or possession of an unrestricted Connecticut medical license

Preferred

• Clinical expertise in multiple myeloma and plasma cell disorders
• Experience in clinical and translational research
• Demonstrated interest in clinical trial development and execution
• Interest or experience in novel therapeutics, immunotherapy, cellular therapy, or biologically targeted treatments
• Track record of academic productivity appropriate for rank
• Strong commitment to education, mentorship, and multidisciplinary collaboration
