Hematologist/Oncologist

Position Highlights:

• Comprehensive cancer center accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer
• Outstanding quality of life; 4 day or 4.5-day work week with limited home call
• 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
• Approximately 90% Oncology and 10% Hematology (providers see solid tumor cases; breast, lung, colon and prostate)
• Ramp up quickly - established practice averaging 30+ new patients per month
• State-of-the-art equipment, including 1.5 Tesla MRI, Siemens Sequoia and Juniper for Ultrasound and 128 slice CT scanner
• Well-trained & experienced APPs, nurse navigators and support staff
• Oncology clinic conveniently located near radiation oncology, infusion center, radiology services and the inpatient unit
• Hospitalist team admits - Oncologist is consulting physician; low inpatient census
• ACGME accredited Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Program affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine

Compensation and Benefits:

• Employed by Deaconess Specialty Physicians, a system of 900+ providers
• $615,000 + Sign on Bonus of $50K
