This large university hospital provides specialized hematology and oncology services within an inpatient setting. The facility maintains a multidisciplinary clinical support team that includes hematologist/oncologists, residents, advanced practice providers, Fellows, and registered nurses to support coordinated patient care delivery. Established clinical protocols are in place to facilitate quality hematologic care throughout the assignment period.

New York offers a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. The state provides access to diverse outdoor recreation, cultural destinations, and community events distributed across the region throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment may explore the state‘s notable landmarks, arts venues, and natural areas during their time on assignment.

Clinicians will provide inpatient hematology consult-only coverage on-site in New York on a Thursday to Thursday AM schedule, 7 days per week including weekends, managing 16 patients per day. Back-up call is required on a 1:4 rotation as part of the assigned schedule. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the Epic EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Hematology and an active NY license are preferred, with prescriptive authority required for this assignment.
