About the Clinician's WorkdayThe hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care managing 15-18 patients daily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional half-day inpatient work on Fridays. Clinical responsibilities include conducting 1-2 new consultations at most, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating care with comprehensive support staff. Documentation must be maintained through EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements for this assignment.
