What You’ll Do:

• Provide inpatient care for adult patients undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant
• Conduct daily rounds, manage patient admissions, and assist with discharge planning
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and stem cell infusions/transfusions
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Manage transplant-related complications including GVHD, CRS, and ICANS
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need:

• MO state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology or related specialty (required)
• 1.5–2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant experience
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical skills in acute inpatient hematology and cellular therapy

About the Assignment:
This role involves providing inpatient coverage at a prominent academic hospital in St. Louis, specializing in hematology and cellular therapies. The NP will support transplant patients through the entire care continuum, from admission to discharge, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and education. Coverage is ongoing, with an anticipated start in early October and a schedule varying monthly.
