PATIENT INFORMATION- Average Daily Volume: 12-14 patients/day
FACILITY INFORMATION- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: 3 RNs, 4 MAs, 3 APPs
- No of Exam Rooms: 8
- Lab & X-ray onsite
- Oncology Clinic is attached to Chemo Treatment Center & hospital
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE
- Licenses: CA
- DEA: Active
- Certifications: BLS
- Experience: Min 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in specialty; clean file required for temp privileges
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology/oncology care to patients.
- Manage chemotherapy patients and collaborate with oncology treatment center.
- Document patient encounters and medical records using Epic EMR.
- Participate in clinic schedule including 8-hour shifts with one-hour unpaid lunch.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team including nursing, MAs, and PAs/NPs.
